Western University, also known as The University of Western Ontario, is a founding member of the U15, Canada's most famous public research university alliance, located in London, Ontario, Canada. In 1921, the outstanding medical worker of Weston University, "father of insulin" Sir Frederick Banting and his assistant discovered insulin and won the Nobel Prize in Medicine.
