Simon Fraser University (SFU for short) was established in 1965 and is located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is named after Simon Fraser, an explorer who explored the Vancouver area. SFU is a comprehensive public research university in North America. It ranks among the top in the world in human-computer interaction, HCI, computer science, and business. It has complete facilities and a Canadian National Laboratory for Particle and Nuclear Physics. In its more than 50 years of running a school, 1 Pulitzer Prize winner, 3 Rhodes Scholars, and 43 members of the Royal Canadian Academy of Sciences have left the school.
